Your neighbourhood officers recently hosted a free bike marking and registration event at Manor Road Park in partnership with BikeRegister.

Residents came along to: • Get bikes security marked and registered

• Receive crime prevention advice

• Speak directly with local officers

Security marking helps deter thieves and increases the chances of stolen bikes being returned.

We have seen a recent increase in overnight break-ins targeting local shops and premises, mainly during the early hours.

Window smashed to gain entry. Alcohol and charity boxes stolen.

Police response: Ongoing enquiries and increased patrols.

💈 Barbers Shops Turkish Scissors – Coalway Road

📅 29 January | around 1:50am

Door forced and cash till taken before offenders cycled away.

Police response: CCTV checks and targeted patrols.

✂️ Denis Birch Hair Salons – Trysull Road

📅 1 February | 5:05–5:07am

Glass panel smashed and cash register stolen.

Police response: Investigation ongoing with extra early morning patrols.
